Photograph Notes: This is the route of the old GN&LNWRJt railway line that served the south side of the Vale of Belvoir and the ironstone workings at the top of the limestone escarpment on the left of the photograph. This section of the cutting, to the north of the viewpoint on [[2016146]], has been filled in from the far end although the trees on the old banks are still flourishing. This view is looking towards the old Stathern sidings, the access point for the ironstone narrow gauge tramway which brought the ironstone down the Harby Hills incline.
